This position is a full-time on-site role for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Binary Quest Limited in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The SQA Engineer will be responsible for test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, creating test cases, and software testing on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Work closely with developers and customers to ensure software quality at all stages
- Conduct API testing using tools
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in the software development lifecycle
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on potential risks or issues
- Master demos of our software
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- 3–4 years of proven experience
- Passion for software products
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with performance testing
- Knowledge of security testing principles
- Basic scripting/programming knowledge
- Highly creative and autonomous
Nice to have
- Performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust)
- Test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress)
- Security testing and vulnerability assessment
- CI/CD integration for automated testing
- Cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure)
